In 2012, Madison Elle Beer posted videos of herself singing covers of popular songs. Justin Bieber, the pop idol, discovered her rendition of Etta Jam's "At Last", and shared the song with his more than 25 million Twitter followers. The coverage led to her signing a recording contract at Island Records, and then an agreement to manage Bieber's manager. Beer was also featured in a small role as an actor supporting in Louder Than Words. This film, which also starred David Duchovny, premiered at the 2013 film festival. Then, in the middle of 2013 her debut single "Melodies," was released.
