Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress . Anita Briesm, an Icelandic actress, is famous for playing Jane Seymour (the young woman that will eventually become the spouse to Henry VIII) in the TV show The Tudors. Also for the character of Hannah in the 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem started her acting career when she was 9 years old at the National Theater in Iceland. Briem was an actress in Iceland as a kid. Briem relocated from Iceland to London aged 16 when he was part of the stage production Lenin's Love. Briem received a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at the age of 19. Over the next three years she attended the academy, earning a drama degree and it was awarded the John Barton Prize for Scenic Fight. The Cherry Garden (Anton Chekhov) as well as Bernarda Alba's house written by Federico Garcia Lorca were among the many plays she was part of during her time at RADA. Briem was a theater actor in London following his graduation, appearing the role of a Catalog of Misunderstanding by Mike Figgis in the National Theater Studio and the five-month West End season of Losing Louis. Anisa Butt, a British actress who appears in Indian film and TV as well as on television, is popularly known as Anisa. As a young child she appeared in the Disney Channel India's TV show Ishaan.
